The T'wolves also played an interesting big lineup with Towns, Reid and Hernangomez all at the same time. They're trying to give the Jazz different looks.

After the 1st quarter the Jazz thought Cool we win by 56 and stopped playing.

That's the difference between a 40 pt 1st quarter and an 18 pt 2nd quarter.

That's actually only 2 or 3 missed 3's. So 6 to 9 points. Defense was the primary problem in the 2nd.

No it wasn't. The defense in the 2nd quarter was actually quite good.

Holding a team to a 101.1 offensive rating is objectively a good defensive quarter. The worst offensive rating in the NBA this year is 104.3.
