We Have A Neighbor That Moved In And Has A Pit Bull. We Do Not Let Our Children Play Outside Without One Of Us Being Out There To Supervise. They Moved In Over The Summer And The Dog Has Attacked Two Different Neighbors On Separate Occasions. I Wrote Him A Letter After The Second One Letting Him Know I Will Shoot To Kill If It Attacks Me Or My Children. He Claims To Have Installed Electric Fences For The Dog Who Wears A Collar With A Censor. But Is That Enough? Any Pit Bull Owners Care To Share Some Advice In How To Deal With Other Pit Bull Owners. He Seems Intent On Not Giving Up His Dog And Inconveniencing His Neighbors And There Families.
 
Unfortunately any bad dog owner will cause all kinds of problems. If the dog really attacked people on their property or on private property, they could press charges or file a compliant with animal control. Some cities have specific laws about dogs/breeds and leashes. Look them up.

When I was growing up some of my neighbors around the corner had some 'retired' huskie sled dogs. They were very large and aggressive and chase/attack children and dogs. After a several police visits, an out of work Dad had enough and shot them both after they had cornered a little girl. Took the corpses on the neighbor's doorstep and threatened a lawsuit. The former dog owners moved away.

So usually this doesn't end well.

I Am Not A Violent Person At All And I Do Not Want To Cause Issues But I Made It Clear To Our Neighbor I Will Have No Choice But To Defend My Family Against His Animal He Cannot Control. Our Neighborhood Is Peaceful And The Police Have Been Called But Nothing Has Happened When They Come To His House. My Son Wants To Put Out A Water Bowl With Pee In It For The Dog But I Told Him To Grow Up.
 
i have a puppy that is part pit, and a doberman pinscher. i cant offer any advice though because im a moron who owns dangerous dogs cause they make me look cool. i cut off my dobermans ears and tail so he can do more damage when i put him into dog fighting championsips. i have trained them to attack young children and men with beards.
