I'm honestly not super excited about either one. Coaching style could be a big factor in who we pick. If I were a defensive minded coach I'd take Wiggins over Parker.
Same.

Wiggins. It's not close between those two.

I choose Jabari. There was SO MUCH hype surrounding Wiggins that some people still can't get over it.
Wiggins put up underwhelming seasonal numbers compared to his hype and he and Parker faced the same-caliber of competition.
Also, it's funny how people say Parker can only score when he had more rebounds and blocked shots than Wiggins.
Both have what it takes to be all-stars. But I prefer Parker.
Sigh.
I'd take either one of them.

He also had 4 points in the NCAA tournament.......I repeat.......4 points.
You draft these guys based on what you think they'll be when they're 23 or 24, not what they are when they're 19.

lol @ anyone who thinks this draft isn't special
Name me one other draft where Jabari Parker could theoretically go 4th.
Or where a sophomore was his team's leading scorer, passer, and single-handedly made his team the best offense in the country, took his team to the NCAA final while being named the nation's best collegiate athlete via multiple awards-- yet he ended up being drafted 9th overall
I'll be happy with either player, but if the Jazz have the choice between the two, I hope they take Wiggins, and if they decide on Parker, it's because of his playing ability and not his priesthood.
When is the last time the Jazz drafted someone because they were LDS?
The Celtics should be more worried about it, I'm pretty sure they have had more LDS players on their team than the Jazz, and I'm pretty sure the Jazz have drafted zero.
While I agree with this, people need to stop worrying about this.
It's a non issue.
fixed. It happens. GMs swing for potential more than established collegiate production, even in 'weak' drafts
Get off the net, and let the big boys talk. If you have to ask this, you don't belong.
