We've basically made Porter and Jokic unplayable with how terrible they're defending. Both of their defensive ratings the last two games have been sky high. I don't know how Denver counters that. Maybe they try to go bigger? Seems like we have enough playmakers to make that a bad idea.

This. The off the charts offense is just what is driving this to 30 point blow outs. The defense is really what's driving solid 20 point wins, and that just makes the offense easier.

But at least it could slow the P&R down. I’d also trap the guard off the P&R to stop easy drives. Force the guard to give it up earlier. Gobert is much less effective when he’s passed the ball at the free throw line than at the rim. If you let our guards into the paint it’s either an easy shot for them, a wide open 3 for the wing, or a lob to Gobert.

Don’t think zone would work... I suppose you could put grant in the middle but the reason to go zone is to keep a rim protector at the rim. Also we do a ton of drive and kick for threes... zone would play right into that.

They don’t have the defensive talent or effort... they need to outscore us.

It was one of those games where you go from excited about your team to embarrassed for your opponent real quick. I wonder what they are going to try different in the next game defensively to try to slow the jazz.
