Game Thread August 30, 2020: Nuggets at Jazz - Game 6

Added to Calendar: 08-30-20

If we want to win we will spend this off-season working on our defense, and size. Oh yeah, and rebounding.

The Nuggets are shooting 60% and Murray has been amazing. That's your game recap.

For whatever reason, their defense also disrupted our offense for a stretch there.

Honestly tho lets be real... In the playoffs they let the offensive players get away with the chicken wing pushoff more often... and Murray is just the type of player who will ruin you with that because he can step-back and shoot it quickly/accurately.

I don't blame Murray at all for this, it's just the state the game is in, and has been in for many years.

Snyder’s decisions have been very suspect. Game 2 he only took Royce out went Murray went out. And subbed him in when Murray went back in. So it seemed anyway. This game he not only takes Royce out, but leaves him out for the nuggets to catch up and take the lead. I want to hear Locke explain it.

I know Conley isn’t necessarily running the offense much better, but games like this make me question whether Donovan should be the primary playmaker. Games 2 and 3 he looked amazing, but when teams press him he gets flustered. He has had a ton of poor possessions this half and is lucky to only have 2 turnovers. On offense the team is just doing way to much standing around.

I won’t comment on the team’s defense because I haven’t seen it yet.

Considering Murray hasn’t missed and Royce and Gobert are playing terrible plus Snyder has been horrible being down 5 at half isn’t bad.
Murray doesn't miss often, though.

I disagree on Rudy. We moved away from him on offense when he was making us click that led to the good start. Defensively, he missed some rebounds but he has been trying to cover holes all game.
