Lol, you seriously are a biggest dumbass on this site. Potentially innocent? What other proof you need after watching the video? Dude kills man from point blank range while his partner is holding him down. It is murder, execution, slaughter, whatever you want to name it - you can't seriously think this dude who pulled the trigger 5 times is innocent. They both are actually absolutely incompetent - what kind of training they received if two of them can't handcuff a man on the ground?

I was with you until you said shoot in the arm or leg. There is no circumstance when police should shoot to disable. First, gunshots are potentially lethal no matter where you aim. Second, you should never fire you gun unless you are in eminent mortal danger, so you should never have time to think about that and aim at an appendage. And those shots have a much greater chance of missing entirely, which increases the chance that they hit someone or something else. And gunshots aren't very good at stopping someone by hitting their arm. Third, firing your gun is done to stop the threat, which is best and most reliably accomplished by shooting center mass, which means chest.

Boris is an idiot, especially on this topic. I'm with you there. And I agree that the officer should be charged with murder.

White people offering advice like "just don't resist and things will be fine" need to stop. It's so obvious at this point that the issue goes far beyond that.

As a white person raised in Utah who can count on two hands the number of black friends Ive ever had, and "knows" about black culture from the Internet and TV, my first instinct when hearing about stuff like this shouldn't be to offer a critique, but to be moved with sympathy first and foremost.

There is a real problem, and as a white person, I'm in learning mode with all of this, not critique mode.
