Best rookie season? Neto or Exum?

That we're debating this question speaks volumes as to the readiness of Exum to lead a playoff caliber team. Dante needs to learn behind a decent PG and prove he can drive and shoot before he's handed the reins. Go GET Teague!

Since the Jazz haven't sniffed the playoffs in a while that can't be layed out on Exum,so what do you base this on.

He proved he could be the PG on a #1 rated defensive team after him and Gobert got promoted AND I'll take that Utah team again. The Jazz changed their whole focus to defense 1st as a team after Gobert /Exum became starters.Since top rated defenses are usually in the playoffs then you better hand the reins over to Exum.

The jazz are playing incredible defense right now without exum ever since favors and Gobert both got healthy

Exum did well at not ****ing **** up so I pick him.

Great point. But one can't learn if they don't make mistakes. Exum needs to be okay with turning the ball over or missing shots. I love his want to be perfect, but no one from Jordan to Lebron ever made it great without first making mistakes. I hope he learns that next year.

Stockton made a lot of turnovers that were caused by his own admission of trying to make the tough play that had less chance of success.

Is Neto a bad defender? He looks okay to me. Not great, but not bad. Anyone have any good stats on this? And his impact on offense is much better than Exum's was last year.

He moves his feet well and tries, but guys shoot right over him. I really don't need the stats per se... I've watched ever guy do it. I'd say he's an okay defender. Dante was good with a chance to be great.
