New season starting later this month so there's plenty of time to catch up.

Jesus this show is absolute garbage and I feel bad for Viola Davis’ resume that she does it.

The Leftovers is one of the best shows that I have ever seen. It is really heavy. I remember that reviewers at the time were saying that it was difficult to watch because it was so depressing.

It's depressing and also sometimes non-sensical yet still amazing.
The plot goes all over the place yet ends up speaking to you and somehow making sense.

It reminds me a lot of lost which I also loved.

The Handmaid's Tale is also very depressing and hard to watch yet amazing.

It’s the antithesis of thought provoking . It sort of reminded me of 24, both of which I quit after about five episodes, because they were so ****ing dumb, twist after twist, everything defying logic and common sense and what we know about life and the way it works.
