Better decide what we want from the Lakers

Adam Silver is sick of the Lakers and doesn't want a conspiracy controversy.

No Link

Adam Silver has been patiently awaiting his opportunity to redeem the Jazz since the Howard Eisley / Ron Harper incident.

Are you talking about the shot clock incident? What stake did Silver have in that? "Redeem" makes it sound like you think he's going to do something good for the Jazz, but I have a feeling you meant to say "repay" or something like that (though I can't imagine why we would need to be repaid for getting screwed over).

The lottery is always suspect as its not drawn on camera. Its done off Camera, make it public so we dont have the New York Knicks Ewing fiasco. You have enough credibility issues with this sport, if lakers were to get the first shot at Wiggins, the corruption bell is gonna get wrung loud and proud by every fan in a small market. (Althought it would be fitting as Sterns final screw job).

Completely different system to what it is now.

Stern won't be able to pick up the "marked" envelop the way he did there.

We live in a time where Voting machines are picking the President, a number combination is much easier.. Millions of millions of dollars are on the line, stern & silver know it, and so do all the small franchise owners who get big fat revenue sharing checks.

LAL and Boston.

Cleveland got Lebron, Orlando got Dwight, Portland got Oden, OKC got Durrant. etc.

There have been 24 drafts under the current system, 1990-2013.

Chances of a 7 or worse pick landing #1 are 125 combinations out of 1000, or 12.5%. 12.5% of 24 = 3. 4 teams landing 7-14 have won the #1 pick.

Chances of a 6th or worse pick landing #1 are 188/1000, or 18.8%. 4.5 expected picks. 6 teams landing 6-14 have won the #1 pick.

Chances of a 5th or worse pick landing #1 are 276/1000, or 27.6%. 6.6 expected picks. 10 teams landing 5-14 have won the #1 pick.

Chances of a 4th or worse pick landing #1 are 395/1000, or 39.5%. 9.5 expected picks. 10 teams landing 4-14 have won the #1 pick.

I'm pretty confident that if you created a simple random number generator with the lottery inputs and 24 opportunities that these kinds of numbers wouldn't be out of the ordinary at all.

Cleveland got Lebron, Orlando got Dwight, Portland got Oden, OKC got Durrant. etc.

And each time LAL had the best player in the Nba. There was no need or opportunity. This time there is both a need and an opportunity. The other owners will let it happen because they know it is good for business.

Kind of feel bad for ya if you actually believe it's rigged like this. I couldn't follow the league if I believed this.

This was a joke that I am surprised made it to 3 pages.
Only thing I'm aware that was fishy was the Kobe draft... will not elaborate.
