YoungBoy Never Broke Again Asks Judge If He Can Permanently Move To Utah

YoungBoy Never Broke Again told a judge that he would be far less likely to engage in criminal activity if he were granted a move into his Utah home.

Not a fan of his, but could this impact athletes opinion on Utah? Imo this could help our chances with intriguing big names. Take it for what it's worth, but having an artist that sold as many albums as Tupac while incarcerated makes an impact on the state.
 
I’m 44 years old. Not quite completely out of touch, but rapidly getting there and for the life of me, I can’t quite seem to piece together why this would make any type of difference for the Utah Jazz.

Granted, I’ve never heard of this guy until I clicked on the thread, but it’s not like suddenly there’s gonna be a burgeoning rap scene in SLC that’s going to draw NBA athletes to Utah. So regardless if YoungBoy Never Broke Again or DJ Waffle Gangsta relocate to Utah, it won’t make a damn bit of difference. That’s the bad news.

The good news? The Jazz organization’s transition from the admirable but antiquated ownership of the Miller’s in favor of a young, progressive owner who seems to be reaching and making an impact with Jazz players and diverse members of our community can do far more good for this franchise than the occasional celebrity spending their house arrest in Utah could ever hope for.
 
lmao the reason he wants to move out here because it's boring and a place where he wouldnt be tempted by nightlife activity. Not sure how that helps Utah's reputation. Kanye made this kind of move popular with his Wyoming home. Basically move to a boring place where you can focus on your work 100%. It's why a lot of basketball players like Utah too, because it's just a place where you can lay low and work without the distractions.

I get the idea that more of these types move out here, the more parties, but the reason they are moving out here is to get away from the parties/nightlife. They are all rich enough to book a flight to Vegas/LA to go party.

Rappers are rich and throw parties. Yes, these things can potentially make a difference because a big reason players love LA/NYK is because you can party with celebrities/IG models whenever you want.

If Utah has enough of these types of people, they can potentially throw parties and make Utah less boring for players. That way they get a bit of the peace/quiet Utah is known for, but also the occasional celebrity party.
