There's discussion, then there's hijacking threads and making them just a complete mess of endless quotes and tired rants. Yeah yeah yeah, we get how better Direct TV is and how much better Utah is because they beat Utah St. by more points.

I heard the Utah Jazz are looking into going Independent. This way they will get an automatic bid into the NBA Finals.

How many 8 page threads have ever stayed on topic? ****, how many 8 post threads have ever stayed on topic? Besides, what's there to talk about? Let's wait until it shakes out and then we can speculate after we have all the facts. This guessing of what might happen is pointless until the facts are gathered.

Both. Continuing negotiations with the MWC are the likely reason that nothing has been announced yet, but BYU is said to be standing firm on every concession they want so they don't appear to be hesitant to go Independent when they clock strikes 12 if they don't get what they want. Who knows how much of that is just a tactic. Maybe the MWC will call them on it.

It would be nice if the fairy tale scenario of Notre Dame/BYU to the Big 12 were announced right now - that would be a perfect **** you to the MWC commish, but maybe more probable a few years down the road. I still think the Super Conferences that the Pac 10 was trying to pull off are the future of college football though.

In other news, BYU is going to use a two quarterback system this year. Ugh.....
