Bold Trade Idea

Millsap for Favors is about fit and the future. You can send me all the stats you want but I'm considering the now and the inevitable cutting of one of our stars.

And be objective for a second - you do realize that playoff basketball is a different animal than season ball right? Every measure of a man is tested in the playoffs. Millsap has shown his merit whereas Favors has never shown me the fight winners have. He's a talent but not an X factor.

Favors is > Millsap.

He is better on offense now and much better defense.

Terrible trade. Also I never want Korver around again. Can't believe people like him after what a **** bag he was to the Jazz franchise.

You weren't here when this happened, but earlier some dude was using this same argument for why the Jazz should get rid of Hayward and max Harrison Barnes.

I'd quote them here, but he ended up deleting those posts out of shame.

Millsap goes toe to toe with LeBron James and holds his own. He can do anything on a basketball court.

Favors goes toe to toe with the training staff over his back.

Sadly forgotten facts about why the jazz didn't resign him and didn't want him back.

Korver purposely stopped shooting open 3s to preserve his 3pt percentage record his last year with the jazz. He admitted to it and it was obvious. We lost multiple games that cost us a higher seed. We could have got the third seed but got the 5th seed. We lost close games where Korver had multiple open shots towards the end of games he passed up to preserve his record that we lost by narrow margins. They were wide open shots that he passed to guarded players.

Remember when Millsap quit playing defense for an entire season for the jazz?

Even though Favor's numbers are good and his defense is good he rarely puts the team on his shoulders and never does in the clutch. If we are going to win in the playoffs we need guys with a killer instinct. Rudy has that. Hayward has that. Burks has that. ****ing Burke has that. Booker has it. Hood has it.

Favors has no killer instinct. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

How many times last season did Derrick get mauled and the refs swallowed their whistle? You know why? Because he is a wallflower.
