What's new

Bolomboy

Not worried about it. Exum looked pretty much terrible in his first SL (minus one or two crossovers) as did Lyles until his last (I think) SL game.

The kid's a 2nd round pick. If he works out, awesome. If not, it's really not affecting us.

Of course, Trey Burke looked horrible each SL and then. Oh wait...

that's why the nbdl is a development league. i heard a while back that a lot of the players they were bringing in were more being looked at for the nbdl team than the jazz. he has potential, he has enthusiasm, is willing to learn and he has really good athleticism. this combination can grow, there is nothing holding him back except lack of experience. he is the perfect example of a player that should go to a developmental team. the big question is whether to take up one of the 15 man roster or to just release him to the nbdl team in the hopes that he's still there when someone goes down or leaves.

Much easier solution. Send him overseas and retain his rights, like what they did for Hanlan.

Bolomboy is a Ukranian citizen (I think, somebody fact check me), so it wouldn't be a problem. Saves us a roster spot, and he stated he was open to it earlier. I'm surprised more people didn't notice it, but it seems pretty obvious.
