Putin was yapping the other day about how nuclear technology is not the main thing militarily anymore. He actually said he was all for sharing the technology with others, his friends of course. Pretty sure he helps Iran and NK.

I saw Putin's remarks about AI. I'm personally not very concerned about nukes versus lasers nationalist thinking. And I consider major war between developed nations to be a very remote possibility in this age.

As plaintively posted above, I was hoping for some Libertarian or Constitutional points like what Ron Paul has been famous for.
No more useless foreign wars, please. We are not going to "fix" the world the way we want it, ever. We should help in places where there is public support for our help, perhaps. But unless the situation generally involves realistic threats against us, acts of war against us, and our Congress is willing to declare actual war on the offender, I prefer diplomacy as the better path.
I fully support the sharing of missle defense systems with SK and Japan, and our own deployment of such systems to effectively contain the stupid NK nuke threats.

He also virtually stated he is in favor of "sharing" technology, a major departure from nuclear non-proliferation treaties. Oh, he was referring specifically to AI, which he states is more significant as a determinant of future military power than nukes, but it shows the deterioration of our international relations since we supported meddling in the politics of Ukraine through the fascist goons/operatives employed by George Soros, in direct violation of our START treaty commitments with Russia, where we covenanted not to meddle in the Ukraine.
We need Russia and China to help moderate the NK regime. We need them to support actual regime change, replacing the dictator with someone who will be a moderate, a member of the family of nations which could be treated essentially the same as SK by the rest of the world. If they signaled their support, and withdrew their "help", the NK gov might drop this whole line of exhibitionism.
Clearly, we should not be doing a game of one-upsmanship in military exhibitionism.

I like yer feel good stance I really do. It is a easy sell as one that any humin bein kin dream of. But it is not realistic.
