Boo Satan

I've been following this board since the start of the season but had no plans to register (because let's face it, most of you are idiots, especially Beantown)
I can just hear everyone thinking to themselves 'well, i'm not an idiot, so he's not talking about me.' I'm surprised that more people aren't taking exception to this comment.

Anyway if I actually preferred to go to the arena over watching the game in the comfort of my home on a HD television with commentators and MUCH cheaper snacks, I would cheer my team and ignore the opposing team. I have been to some games, and booing the opposing team seems kinda childish to me. As for what Deron did before being traded, he wanted to win, he wasn't winning, and he wasn't handling it well. Now that he's on a true losing team, he'll have to figure it out, and it looks like it's getting worse for him.

It's not like he he committed a hard flagrant foul on one of our players or anything, and if Sloan couldn't handle Deron, he really was worn out at the time. Again, Deron just wanted to win.

There are 2 reasons I don't take offense when people pull this, "everyone around me is an idiot" routine.

1- Usually when someone says everyone else around them is an idiot, the opposite is true.
2- If I am an idiot, I'm probably not smart enough to take it personally, so it doesn't hurt my feelings.

So what that test says is that if you are color blind you are automatically an idiot.

Do you boo Karl Malone when he comes to slc? He wasn't even traded - he left on his own to play for the Lakers. Or do you respect him for what he brought to the Jazz while he was here?

I booed him when he played for the Lakers but seeing as he is not a player anymore I do not boo him. Just like I do not boo any retired players.

I will be at the game tonight I will applaud Satan when he is introduced. Once the game starts it is all Jazz but still no reason to boo Deron. If Deron drove Jerry to leave it was because management didn't buck up.

Oh good another one of these threads.

Glad a passionate - albeit hot-headed - player like Deron, who gave this team his all every time he stepped on the court, a guy who in fact did not leave Utah on his own will but was traded, is comparable to the ruler of Hell. Apt comparison. Just like the nutbars that compare Bush and Obama to Hitler.

Seriously, buncha ****ing crybabies.

And I'll be cheering for Deron during the introductions extra loud to drown out all you ****ing mouthbreathers than refuse to acknowledge all the joy the brought to this franchise.

I think you are mischaracterising what most of us are saying. Give him his props during the introductions. He deserves it. However once the game starts he is trying to beat our team. Boo him as you would a normal player during the course of a game. nothing malicious or personal but if commits a hard foul on a Jazz player or hits a dagger 3 I will boo. It is nothing personal but he is nto a Jazz player anymore.

All of you can feel free to continue throwing personal insults about me and others not cheering everything he does during game time. This is my opinion and there is simply nothing you can do to change it. I quite enjoy the rage.
