Brandon Knight had the best workout with the Jazz

what do you have to back it up?

If you read the post I said "Fundamentally".

As in - does he have the fundamental (i.e., shooting mechanics) to consistently hit a 3pt? I'd have to say yes. A number of videos have been posted on this site demonstrating just that.

The same with Free throws, inside game, etc, etc. His high school videos demonstrate that he can fundamentally do those things.

Valanciunus for example - I don't think he has the fundamental to consistently hit a 3pt. Nor can Vesely hit FT.

And Dirk and Kanter are nothing alike. Hotttnickk is an idiot. Kanter is more of a big man who can step outside and hit some shots. Dirk was a big man who made his name from the outside, but eventually developed the inside.

You really can't compare Dirk's game to anyone else. He's so unique. We won't be seeing someone consistently shooting midrange fadeaways off the wrong foot for a long time.

Could Kanter be as good as Dirk someday, I guess it's possible, but their games won't be that similar.

If KOC ultimately goes with Knight I will give him the benefit of the doubt. However, the Jazz better feel real comfortable with Favors or Jefferson at center for a long time because there won't be another chance to draft a big again in the near future. They would be really wise then to move up that 12th pick to 7 or 8 and grab JV or BB.

Next years draft is good but all SFs and a few finesse PFs.

Either Biyombo or Donatas will be available at 12 most likely.

So you have nothing to back it up

No not really - but there's a reason why Dirk was picked 9th in that draft.

You look at the players' fundamentals and estimate whether they translate to the next level.

And Yes - you take a chance, and it is risky, but that's what you do.

Most mock drafts have Kanter going 6 to Washington. I highly doubt the Jazz draft Kanter unless they are looking to deal him right away. Just my thoughts.

Not to mention Okur is in a contract year and is probably going to work his *** off to get in shape and contribute to the team. What does Kanter add to this team that we don't already have in one of our players?

Worst of all if Millsap can't play the 3 effectively, then we are stuck in a situation where we can't even play Kanter any minutes.

Sorry - Most mock draft have Kanter going at 4.
