I'd give you some lollies & a gold star if I had some, but unfortunately I ran out.....
I knew it. Hottnickk went for the bold typing.
Not right now obviously.. but fundamentally:
1. 3pt shot? Yes
2. Dribble & drive game? Yes
3. Inside game? Yes
4. Free throw shooting? Yes
5. 7 Footer? Near enough
6. Toughness? Yes
7. Clutchness? May be (it only took Dirk 13 years)
Dirk was drafted because he was a lights-out shooter who could also put the ball on the floor. Kanter's more of a post player who can hit the outside shot. Major difference. No not really - but there's a reason why Dirk was picked 9th in that draft.
You look at the players' fundamentals and estimate whether they translate to the next level.
And Yes - you take a chance, and it is risky, but that's what you do.
Sorry - Most mock draft have Kanter going at 4.
Please no pg at 3.
This.
Wish all you want but knight will be a jazz man.
