Brexit

You didn't actually answer any questions tho...you're trying to make this an emotional debate. Just answer the questions.

*yawn*

FWIW, "Why is assimilation so bad?" is probably the whitest post ever typed out on these forums.

You are of course, aware that you were the one who brought up the word, right? If pointing out a fact makes something a **** post, then yes, it was a **** post.

I understand why you wouldn't like the word. I called it stupid myself. But still, nobody has used it yet (save yourself). Clearly you have different time commitments than me, but I don't really have time to rant about a word that nobody has used yet.

Fwiw, it's pretty ironic of you to use the "people like scat..." line. Had he said something like, "it's not long before people like Dala blow up the board", I can't imagine you would have liked it. You're doing the same thing.

Behind Joe, I'm not sure there's a poster who enjoys false equivalencies as much as you do.

You're allowed to make whatever analogy you want, but when someone else does it's a "false equivalency?" IMO, cultural appropriation makes sense as a real issue when it involves sacred ceremonies, etc. When applied to things like pop music and dancing (I'm not going to even mentioning applying it to anything originated by a Caucasian male because that would clearly be a "false equivalency") it becomes ridiculous and nothing more than a tool to create conflict and anger.

In regards to the Timberlake tweet, how cool would it have been if the responses were instead, "Thanks for the support, Bro," because it's obvious that was his intent.

Even if true, it was rural people voting to leave and urban people voting to stay, so it would make sense that it was the same areas. But obviously would mean one caused the other.

This is beyond stupid. It's the people who are mad, and the people who voted for Brexit. The cows have not been given their innate natural bovine rights yet, and are of course "owned" as chattel property still, and have no vote. I'm sure if justice were extended to them, they would also be mad enough to vote for Brexit.

In the EU, human beings will have no more rights than the cows.

I heard the EU was the cow's idea.
