Bridges to knicks

I was hoping we can get OG or Bridges. Now it seems neither is possible. May have to bet on Patrick Williams.

And Randle will be traded to recoup some picks, though we should not get involved.

Wow! I'm not sure how to feel about that. The nets may have not done the deal if the rockets didn't agree to do that but that swap may have been gold even if the nets keep Bridges. I do really like that 27 suns pick though. For the nets it is a homerun to get rid of that 25 swap and get their 26 pick back. It seems like the rockets should have asked for me to make this happen.

Sean Marks may have just pulled off the most brilliant gm move that I have ever seen. He gets insane value for Bridges while gaining back control of his own picks to go full tank. Absolutely brilliant. I would expect it to be followed up with moving Cam Johnson and DFS over the next week.
 
What’s crazy is that if OG leaves, the Knicks just sent 6 first picks to become marginally better. Bridges is healthier than OG…not sure he’s that much better.
 
I said I would give 2 picks and one jazz player not named Lauri, key, Hendricks, sexton lol.

And I thought I was one of the only ones who was down with trading for him. Holy crap the nets got alot

Add in Quickley, Barrett and the 31st pick this year as well.
 
Also, this has diminished our assets. I’ve always said that the value of picks is higher than the reality, and with our picks not looking like good lottery picks, setting the market for all these unprotected picks just to grab Bridges.

We shan’t be landing great players through trades.

Maybe this pushes me toward team tank, though it may be impossible for me to be more apathetic than I am now.

Well, I think that was worth it to upgrade to OG and that on its own was fine….but to go from OG to Mikal….this is a crazy amount. I would have just given OG his money.

Not necessarily disagreeing, but less good teams having picks is probably good for us.
