In a new level of meta, we no longer need to run fantasy leagues or discuss free agency or potential trades, since we've been down that road and have seen where this leads. Let's talk about how you would staff your fantasy front office, given the chance. What would you do? Who would you put in what positions? Could include current executives, people you could promote, other JazzFanz posters, or even movie characters. Who you got?

I was intrigued by Jerry West signing on with the Clippers. For whatever reason, maybe team chemistry, his work there has been underwhelming.

Jerry has done stellar work at every stop. He constantly gets high value in trades and is a good talent evaluator. He’d be top of my list of guys I’d want involved.

I agree. He is at the top of the list. I expected the Clippers to take it to the next level, but they are not quite there. Masai Ujiri is another top gm I would want.
Yeah I don’t think he thought through the chemistry stuff enough. But also was a weird playoff situation.

Masai might be THE guy you’d want as the main man. I think West is more an architect consultant type.

Look at what Liverpool FC has done recently. They went from a team that was the butt of the jokes for not being able to get over the hump to a champions league winner and PL champion.

They went and hired a charismatic, attack minded manager that the players loved to play for. They let a fan favorite go because he was overvalued. Doing this opened up the opportunity to sign two great players.

They found diamonds in the rough, players werent being used up to their potential on other teams. Basically they had a plan and they executed it very well.
