What's new

Burks or Hood?

Which only works because Draymond Green is one of a kind, and can guard like 90% of players that he switches onto. He is also incredibly unselfish.

Can Alec Burks defend even the mediocre PGs of the league? THAT is the issue at hand here. Does he ever routinely pass up a good shot for a great shot?

If Exum was playing this year, then I would agree with your point. However, the question you should have asked is, "Can Alec Burks defend PGs better than Trey Burke?" As for passing, I see no difference between Burks and Burke. But it is a new season and, after the huge improvement Hayward made last year, I have hope even for Burke.

actually I don't think the jazz have a ball hog on their team. That is where your and I disagree the most.
Lol
You can't look at attempts per game when one player averages allot more minutes than the other. That would be silly.
You have to look at attempts per minute played obviously

Trey Burke is undeniably a ball hog. Burks certainly gets a little too frenzied at times but he's definitely not a ball hog.

I'd go with Hood at the moment, if he plays like he did at the end of last season, better decision making. New season though so we'll see how they all play !

Watch burks highlight video from last season and you will see him do this many many times.

Lol, please show where I said that.
Lol
Cause according to you amount of shots doesn't matter it's the type of shot that makes you a ball hog

Hood and it's not even close.

Burks belongs on the bench with Trey, so they can share time being ballhogs with each other.
That ball hog Burks took the least amount of shots tonight of any of the starters and was second in assists.
Damn ball hog

Hood must be bummed that he laid an egg. Maybe he'll go red hot in the next game.

Burks pretty much laid an egg too.

And we still buried the Lakers by 19.

What I liked was that they didn't have just the PG bring it up. Almost anyone at the 1-3 brought it up, whoever got the ball first. I wonder how many possessions per game that adds up to? 3? 4?

I love that they are doing that.
I hate having designated inbounders after made shots and I hate having someone designated to bring the ball up.
Whoever is closest is the way to go
