Couldn't this exact thread from earlier get bumped? Or not have the topic discussed because it's dumb? Or maybe Beanclown be banished to the pits of General Discussion where he belongs?

Hood. Gets buckets without needing to dominate the ball. Could fit in any offense. Complete offensive game. Probably has a post-game too, that'll emerge soon. A better defender as well. He just doesnt have Alec's athleticism. Both occupy different spheres of talent, aka we have one pimp-*** wing rotation

I cant even think of a possible ****ing ceiling for the dude. Surreal.

This is very tough, thank god this isn't a real decision. Both bring two totally different traits that are extremely valuable......Burks ability to create his own shot and finish around the basket and at the very least drawing a lot of fouls while on the other hand Hood has the capability to shoot the other team out of the game in a hurry when he's on. With that said I'd keep Hood mainly because we severely lack shooting on this team.

Love me some Burks, but if I could only have one, I'd go with Hood. His BBIQ seems higher, even if he can get tunnel vision at times, too. I also have more confidence in his defense. I don't like his lack of FTAs though. That's a red flag. Burks has always been great in that regard, and it's vital to the game. Hood's jump shot puts him over the top though; you have to have legit shooters to win it all in the NBA, and Hood is our best one. Burks shoots a decent % from 3 historically, but he has to be willing to pull the trigger for that to matter.

We're lucky to have both (in addition to Hayward). Hood just needs to start getting to the FT line and Burks needs to stop being so hesitant to shoot the 3 ball. If they do that (and Hayward goes back to his old self and Favors' production sustains), we'll have our best offensive team since Sloan was coaching.

Its hard to argue for Burks after how good hood looks

It's literally impossible to argue for Burks. Even after the end of his rookie year it was clear Hood was going to be better.
