Chicago's group owners are notoriously cheap, like Memphis group cheap. We have a more draft picks to offer than anyone not Philly. That's not enough combined with assets to land a semi-big name RFA no matter what? I don't believe it.

Um, not sure if you're trying too hard to troll, or not hard enough to cover up.

This is my thinking as well. With Burks coming back, we don't need two ball heavy scoring guards coming off the bench. Chicago needs a PG after Rose went down. We get flexibility and the ability to turn the 2nd unit over to Burks.

Also, we can slide Hayward to the two and play Snell/Hood at the three.

Snell will be a great shooter in the NBA. He is shooting 55% from three this month.

I'd do Burke and our pick for Snell (as long as our pick is not top 10).

Snell is a solid defender, on a rookie contract, and a very, very good shooter. I'd trade Burke for him in a heartbeat. Chicago needs a PG. We need a shooter. Match made in heaven.

I think Burke has shown these last couple of games that he's got much more left to give and improve on. I wouldn't give up on him just yet.
 
I've been thinking we should explore trading some assets to make a bigger splash than just free agency.
