BYU Football 2012

Technology keeps getting smarter and smarter. I keep setting my DVR to record episodes of Teh Biggest Loser, and it keeps recording BYU games instead.

This is what telling a joke that i heard a month ago on facebook looks like.... then on jazzfanz a few weeks ago..... then on jazzfanz again.
The first time i heard the joke it was about the dallas cowboys, then it was a red sox joke, then i saw it as a byu joke a few times.... good job though. Repped for originality and amazing sense of humor.

I give very little effort to my BYU hatred anymore. The rivalry loses some punch when you move out of state and your team wins all the time.

I disagree that Boise State was on the ropes. Yes, BYU would have had the momentum going into OT, but having one good the drive the entire game doesn't put the other team on the ropes.
Boise had zero good drives last night. I don't know why they even dress a FG kicker. The 2 point try was the wrong call.

^ this is what trying to talk your way out of a corner whilst standing on your last leg looks like

You were pretty silent too, so I include you in with Yfan85.

This is called calling out internet tough guys that talk crap only when it's safe.

Go back to your Romney hate threads.

I give Ugly faced Baby a break because he is talking crap in every thread in existence to increase his post count.

I'm sure you would rush the thread field if there was one... again. Maroons

It's all good, braugh. You guys made it close at the end.

And then proceeded to lose three times.

Wow, musta been some serious vitriol when you were invested. Damn.

I like Doman and still think he'll be fine. I think his issue is over-thinking and trying to hard to be creative. The playbook is way too crazy right now.

Over thinking? Too complicated? Crazy playbook? Huh?

Are you even watching the same guys the rest of us are?

What's creative about running the option?

Funny, even Brian Johnson, a rookie OC is running more stuff with a QB who wasn't even recruited by any DIV I school. Draws, screens, quick slants, etc... How did the TE not have any receptions last game?

The BYU offense is anything but creative or complicated right now. If anything, it's wayyyyy too simple and predictable. How hard is it to stop the QB from running? Obviously not too difficult given how pathetic the offense has looked for 2 years.

The weird thing about Hill is everybody says he doesn't know the playbook well enough for big minutes, but yet, in games he is calling audibles like an all pro. Doman keeps saying he thinks it takes 2 years to pick up his offense. What planet is that guy on? We ran a more complicated offense on my Pee Wee football team. There's nothing to his offense. He's clearly delusional. He needs to go. And BYU then needs to hire an OC based of dynamism of playcalling, not religious affiliation.

Where did you hear Doman say that? If it's accurate, I agree that he's delusional.

Clearly Bronco has done wonders with the defense. It's awesome.

Clearly Doman has NOT done anything with the offense. The sad thing, though, is that it's not like the defense has THAT many more quality athletes than the offense. So to me it definitely seems like a coaching issue. I agree that Doman is on thin ice... or if he isn't, he certainly should be.

That's not true at all. Some of you guys think you know football but you don't. BYU runs way too many formations. And they run too many blocking schemes besides. Not to mention their pass patterns are on a Detmerish level (simple really but the reads aren't). It's really not that hard to see if you know what to look for.

But there are two issues. One is the play design and one is the play calling itself. Don't confuse them.

Not to mention just the offense itself. Doman can't seem to figure out if he wants to run I-backs or the spread, or double tight, or whatever.
