1 freshman with a good arm does not a passing game make.

If nobody is catching those passes, they mean little. Heaps may have arrived, but I think the BYU receiving corps missed the bus.
 
BYU's passing game is not even remotely close to SDSU's. And SDSU threw 3 interceptions against Utah (with Utah winning the game, fair and square, in San Diego).

No way is Utah worried about BYU killing them with the pass.

Again, SDSU threw 3 interceptions (and several more that were close to being picked).

They have a much better passing game than BYU. If BYU tries to throw it like SDSU, look for Utah to get about 5 interceptions.

Here's the difference, BYU hasn't had a full playbook on offense until two weeks ago. I wouldn't assume Lindley >>>> Heaps, even as a Freshman, but I'll let him do the talking with his play tomorrow.

I actually deleted that other post for the same reason too. I figured you guys would stop overlooking Hoffman soon enough, but I guess you snagged it before I deleted it.

So then I guess your point is that Heaps, a true freshman, has only 3 weeks of "real" experience, and is already better than Lindley? And not only that, but he is so much better than Lindley, that it makes BYU's passing game even better than SDSU's (who clearly has better receivers than BYU).

Well I guess we'll see tomorrow, but needless to say, I don't buy it.

Excuses, excuses, excuses. Hell, it's well documented that even with a full playbook, BYU's OC doesn't call all that great of a game. As a matter of fact, it's BYU fans that have a major beef with that in the first place.

Duck, I'll say it again: You're predictions are the worst. They're absolutely horrible. You have no business predicting anything. I'd only be worried if you predicting Utah to win. I couldn't be more pleased with how you see this game playing out. It most certainly means that Utah is going to roll.

What blowouts are you talking about? Utah won their last game.

Or are you talking about BYU beating crappy teams (by less than Utah beat those same teams) the last couple weeks?

How does BYU's defense compare to Wyoming's? If I remember right (and I do remember correctly) Wynn tossed three INT's in that one. I'll wager BYU's defense is head and shoulders better than that of the mustard and mud. But clearly nobody can create turnovers like TCU though can they?

Would you say Wyoming "forced" Wynn into 3 interceptions, or did Wynn just get careless during a blowout victory?

Doesn't matter. He still threw 3 picks. There's no way in hell to know if he "got careless" or if he was forced into throwing them.
