Blah, blah, blah
Stop giving me the numbers. I can look those up. Look past the numbers and try to explain why he got what he got. Could it be teammates? System? Stability? Give me something different.
Before you go and throw a fit about this, I will just point to two players. Boozer and Stoudemire. They both moved teams. Both became less effective players. Why? Did they get dramatically worse as a player? Nope, that is not it. They changed teams and that also meant changing teammates, system and culture. They are both good players but they were exposed slightly because the players that helped make them look better were not there anymore.
The opposite can also be true. Marcin Gortat. He was a back up center in Orlando. Then he changed teams which also means that he changed teammates, system and culture. Now ESPN is ranking him as a top 60 player in the league. Can your numbers explain why he got better? Did he work so hard in the offseason that he became so much better overnight? I think not.
The Kings as a team and a franchise are a mess. They have a team full of chuckers. Evans, Thornton, Thomas, Fredette and Salmons. Not one of those players would I describe as players that help their teammates be better. Everyone was just looking for their own shot. They don't seem to have any true direction on either side of the ball. Once your numbers can explain that to me I will start to listen to you. Numbers certainly have their place in basketball, but they certainly can't explain everything. Sometimes the eyeball test clears up the issue.
I can't keep up with this thread, any new news?

That's the post of the day. There's no real news in here.
Nothing new, Enes. At the very earliest .. Saturday.
Just be glad that school is knocking down my available hours on Jazzfanz.
I'd make the most provocative rap your Utahn ears have ever heard. I'll make sure to not post it on the weekends, I'd never want your lovely daughters to see a grown man cry.
Thanks. But I have a strong urge to read the last 15 pages of this thread anyway. Is this normal, am I OK?
I've lived in the dirty south. You ain't nothing yo. I'll mushroom yo tramp stamp.
No it is not normal and no you are not OK. But that is why you are here with the rest of us jacked up, poor excuses for good people.

That's what I was thinking when I read Enes' post. You wouldn't be here if you were normal, that's for sure.
