Camping Thread

It's getting that time of year to start camping (at least for me.) I always tell myself I'm going to go camping more every year and then only go a few times. This year, my gf and I (and my bear of a dog) are going to try and go as much as possible. One place I'd like to try is Red Castle Lake in the Uintahs. It's a pretty far hike, but looks absolutely gorgeous. What are your guys favorite places to camp in Utah? What camping tips or secrets do you have? Anyone down for a camping trip. Maybe we can build a pillow fort or something.

Btw, again, I would happily let the females and children sleep in my fifth wheel while we sleep in the tents.

I have a couple backpacks and a JF camping trip would be fun. I'll even bring the nickels and cards for a poker game.

Our favorite is pretty close. Farmington canyon. But we aren’t super hikers or campers. Just a couple times a year max.

If there's enough interest I could ask my friend for lodging in his family cabin in Joe's Valley and tow a pontoon boat down for fishing and stuff and maybe even fix my old piece of crap up enough for wakeboarding.

We bring guns to shoot and 4-wheelers so not for everybody, but it would one helluva hickmode-JFC poker weekend that could be fam friendly.

I would like this. I work all the damn time though so i would need some advance notice to see if i could get some vacation time off for this.
