Can Devin Harris run an offense??????

Devin Harris is far from the source of our problems. Our problem is how the team is playing together as a whole, not anyone person.

And who is responsible for facilitating, running that offense, making five men seem like a seamless entity. Oh yeah, Harris. Dude had two assists tonight. Two. ****ing pathetic. He's not the only problem but he, imo, may be the biggest.

I feel like some on this board have a very low BBIQ.
Telling Harris to run this outdated Jazz offense is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
Did anyone listen to the TNT crew last night?
The Jazz need to ditch this slow halfcourt motion offense and move to a quicker paced offense.
Run more pick-n-roll and isolation plays for Harris, too.
When allowed to play within his skills, Harris is capable of being a very efficient and productive point guard.
When forced to play a style that don't suit his talents, well, you see what you get.

Don't let rationale and sense get in your way though.
Blame Devin. Hate Harris. I heard he eats babies and is a proponent of world hunger and cancer.
AND he can't run an offense!

I did watch the halftime show. Hopefully Corbin recorded it because Barkley and Shaq give perfect ****ing advice and know everything.

Your point? Irving is better than Knight. I'm not disagreeing with that. I'd rather have Knight than Harris any day of the week. We could at least trade Knight if it didn't work out here.

I would rather have Durant over any player in our team also.... Your point?

Devin Harris - you're a shooting guard. I want to see Watson at the one and Harris at the two. It wouldn't be any worse than it is with Harris at the one...

Would rather see Burks get minutes at the 2. I also prefer Tinsley over either, at the moment.

I am ok starting Tinsley and have Burks be the backup PG. I would also be ok with trade AJ, Harris, Bell and CJ. Start stockpiling picks.

This draft is supposed to be nice. Although, I'm guessing other teams would be reluctant to give up their picks this year. We'd probably have to settle for future draft picks.

Just curious, should the Jazz also get rid of the old fashioned, "Stay in front of your Man"?

Devin's body language and play to me tells me he doesn't care. And since you are so tight with Devin could you maybe explain why. Has he not learned the offense?- Ten months is a short time. Is he bitter about being traded again? Is he too engaged with a potential life partner? Has he become bored with basketball, or is he is searching for life's meaning?

I want him to be successful, but I see a guy that has checked out, if he ever checked in.

Devin Harris is not the problem on offense right now. The problem is the offense we're running. Harris' defense, on the other hand, has been putrid. He needs to impose his will and stop being so reactive. He's just letting himself get run into screens, and he never tried to force Lawson left once tonight.

Playing basketball has never really been Harris' game. It's only after we see him stop playing "VROOOOOOOM LOOK OUT GUYS I'M COMINNNGGGG!!!" ball that we see this.

Yeah, Harris is more of an SG.
I like this starting lineup:

Tinsley
Harris
Hayward
Favors
Jefferson

Gets Raja out of there and puts Harris where he might work better. I thought Tinsley's done a great job at setting up the team.

After one single defensive play when Harris was playing against Lawson and Lawson passed the ball from top to the wing and Harris immediately completely relaxed, set his legs straight and put his weight on one foot I would bench his *** straight away and explained him with quite a few expletives why he won't be doing this from now on. He didn't just turn himself off from team defence, he gave a very clear message to other players that he doesn't really care and even if they bust their asses they still gonna get owned. It takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel and even though I agree with Cyrone Torbin that there is no team out there right now, you can't let players get away such attitude.
