Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

I've seen CJ play solid defense, grab key rebounds, set up his teammates, space the floor, even though he has not shot well in 2 of those games. He has been finding other ways to help the team even when he doesn't have his offensive game going, which he used to never do until last year.

Exactly. Raja bell shoots worse then cj so why isnt there a thread bashing him?

Cj miles is a 30% 3 point shooter this year. If he had 4 more misses that would mean he just shot 1-5 which would be 20%. Hes not going to miss 4. What is your evidence to support that?Also hes averaging almost 10 points a game off the bench with 23 minutes a game. Thats not bad especially when you are not the go to option on offense.

Miles has missed 19 out of his last 21 3-point attempts. That's boderline criminal.

He's averaging 10 points per game - on 11 shots per game. That's pathetic.

I could go on and on; but you'd probably stay up until 4am with your calculator trying to prove CJ is the next Reggie Miller.

In the season hes shooting 30 percent from 3 which is not horrible.

10 points game off the bench which is the best off the bench. shooting 36% but hes helping in other ways like ak usually does.

Well, we know CJ will be the most microanalyzed player in Jazz history. The guy can't take a shot without someone having an opinion on it. Every game means something serious. He played pretty well tonight. I look forward to finding out how great/mediocre/horrible he'll be after the Charlotte game. I predict this will be a fun thread for the CJ fans in the long run.

agreed. A whole thread bashing cj when there are worse players on the jazz then cj. Even worse shooters. Also the jazz keep winning so whats the point in bashing anybody?

Actually, Bell's shooting percentages - overall, 2-pt, 3-pt, even FT - are all better than Miles, although only just. Where they differ significantly is in their number of attempts. Bell averages one shot per four minutes of playing time. Miles averages a shot every two-and-a-half minutes of playing time. In fact, on average, Miles misses a shot more often than Bell takes a shot. The only reason Miles hasn't tallied more more misses than Bell has attempts is Bell has played more minutes.

They have different roles on this team. Miles is coming in as the only real scoring option off of the bench while Raja is there to play defense and stretch the floor for Deron, AJ, AK, and Millsap.

Probably another reason why there is no thread for "Bell haterz" - he isn't expected to score. Having said that, his shooting performance isn't acceptable either, remember when he was signed and his career 40% three-point shooting was supposed to replace Korver's shooting, except he could play defence as well? He needs to pick it up too.

I agree that they both need to shoot better. However CJ is actually contributing in other ways better than Raja and his defense has been just as good in most games. The reason there is a thread bashing CJ is because for some reason there is a lot of fans here that just plain hate him. Even during a winning streak in which he has been in during all of the runs to come back they continue to bash him.

Yep, everybody hates CJ. And for good reason. HE's TERRIBLE! And a cry baby like you Bonkers. I cannot stand watching him play. Just one game without him would be a gift. It's hilarious though seeing you try to defend him by crying about how everybody is a hater. Keep the entertainment coming though Bonkers.

However, aside from Deron, CJ is about the only guy who can create a shot off the dribble with consistency. We could use another player like that. AK can do it sometimes, but just as often he turns the ball over.
