rainhut: 2 games? Hah! He sucked for 1,934,792 straight games before that IN A ROW. He missed FIVE shots tonight. He looked STUPID with a mouthpiece in his mouth. He touched me INAPPROPRIATELY in a DREAM last night. He did that against my WILL. He's a bad basketball player and a dream RAPIST. He spit on my MOTHER after he was done doing evil awful things to my evil awful parts. And just before I woke up, he high fived the DEVIL.

+1 funny stuff

Question is, can CJ back this up with another good game against Sacramento or does he disappear for another 4 games? The problem with (and my criticism of) Miles isn't that he doesn't have the talent. It's that he is never consistent. He'll follow up a good or great game with a couple of 1-7, 2-10 stinkers. To be a decent starter or 6th man, CJ needs to be in the 44% range (he's at 39% now). He's raised his 3-pt FG's to 36%. That's the minimum point where he needs to be.

Two very good games in a row. He makes this a habit and I might not hold my breath every time he shoots.
Now if someone could just figure out what's wrong with Deron's shot! Williams looks like he has some of the Captain in him (and I'm talking about the "old" Captain Jack Smiles).

Foot/Calf injury

It's easy to say he blows after a few bad games, or say he's arrived after two good ones.

We need to look at a larger body of work to judge CJ. This season is going to be very telling for him.
So far he's been up and down. Some horrible games, followed by some really good ones. Two good games in a row
was a small step for Miles. Now let's see if he can get a third tonight.

IIRC CJ was pretty good in the Lakers series even though we got handled last post-season.

He was a key in the 1st round win as well. CJ has had a quite a few good games this year even while not exactly shooting well. The encouraging part for me is he seems to get that he can contribute even if he's not hitting his shots. That seemed to change near the end of last season and has carried over to this year.
