Can the Jazz stop the Golden State Warriors winning streak?

Yeah, I did that with the Thunder game. I just knew that was going to be a bad game. I have a feeling about this one though.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I am super worried about the Brandon Rush revenge game. For whatever the reason is, he seemed to have a negative experience when he was in Utah and is salty about it. He just made like 4 or 5 threes against Phoenix, and is starting tonight. Something to look out for.

The small lineup gives us an extreme disadvantage. I remembered the last Jazz vs Warriors game very distinctly. They outran the **** out of us. Moreover, Gobert is not a great offensive threat to begin with. They were able to stop the likes of Blake Griffin and Pau Gasol in crunch time.
We might be better off if Gobert didn't go for offensive rebounds and instead hustled his *** back to defend the fast break when we miss our shots. Without Gobert in the paint, they will kill us with fast break points like they did last time.
Really excited to see Q's game plan.

The Warriors will certainly go small against the Jazz. They can't match the inside presence of Favors/Gobert, so they need to pull them out of the paint and try to cover the perimeter.
This matchup is exactly the reason I was hoping Utah would target DeMarre Carroll and/or Stanley Johnson this past offseason. Those two have the right body size and skill set to match up as small 4's. Rotate Gobert/Favors at C, and then go with a 3/4 wing lineup at the other spots. Carroll, Hayward, Hood/Burks and (ideally) a healthy Exum. That would have been the way to matchup with their small-ball lineup.

Warriors are accustomed to getting out and running and shooting early in the shot clock, but they are a below average defensive rebounding team. If the Jazz can get offensive rebounds and score, it will force the Warriors to slow down and keep more players back to rebound, it could alter the rhythm of the Warriors offense.

I'm really hoping for a breakout game tonight. This team has played a couple of tight games and fallen short - otherwise their record is much better than just over .500. They seem to play up or down to their competition.
IF they want to make the playoffs this year, this would be a huge springboard game. The first team to beat the Warriors are going to get a LOT of positive media attention. Think that would do wonders for their confidence.
Don't forget that this team lost 19 games before they got their 8th win last year. If they manage to beat the Warriors, they're at 9-7 and 5th/6th seed in the west.

They have also won some tight games. @ Hawks and v. Raptors specifically. Jazz are 5-5 on the road and 5-5 against teams with winning records. The record will reflect that when the Jazz start playing teams like the Kings, Laker, Nets...

I don't get to many games, but I saw the Warriors play the Jazz early in the season two years ago. It was clear to me that Rudy was going to be a player, same with this guy named Draymond. Rudy and draymond got a little chippy with each other. Rudy and Bogut also got a little chippy. I can't wait to see them tonight.

Well Locke is an idiot then. Even if they are a below average defensive rebound team as he claims, offensive rebounds are still hard to come by.
Offensive rebounds and late shot clocks don't go hand. In the Warriors case, they are essentially mutually exclusive. If we go for offensive rebounds when we don't get one, which will be often just by the nature of the game, they will murder us on the fast break. If we don't go for offensive rebounds as much we can slow down their fast break game.
If Snyder does go with an offensive rebound plan, he better just make Favors be the one to go after them hard, since we'll need Gobert hustling back to defend the rim on the counter attack. That is how GSW essentially gets their wins.
