Can we play Favors at Center and Kanter at PF?

im not stuck on which is 4 which is 5, but they have complimentary skills, they can certainly play together as front court

I mean for sure next year, and we have no promise of later scoring either. Al can hit 30 any given night. That was what I meant.

Al also gets 10 some games.....lets stick with averages. Al gets 20 a game, and not the most efficient 20. It comes at the cost of freezing out teammates. I think Harris, Hayward, and Millsap could easily make up for Kanter's drop off early on.

Can we is different than should we. We will only know until both of them show they are capable of playing defense. Yes Favors has shown flashes, but he is still extremely foul prone and raw. We really have no idea how good/bad Kanter is on defense at this point.

From Jazz's work out with Kanter today it seems the emphasis is on his offensive skills.

I don't think you would pick him on his defensive skills. The beauty of pairing him with Favors is that they have complementary skills, not duplicative skills (think Nowitzki & Chandler).

Would you have passed on Nowitzki because he can't block or defend?
