Can We Trade for Lou Williams?

The only way I can see anyone getting Lou would be if they took on Gallo's 20+ million dollar contract for next year as well.

That would give LAC cap room for 3 max contracts next year.

Believe me, I'm not advocating we take on Gallo - I was speaking to any team trying to get LW.

If Utah would be in this deal, I'd hope it would be a three way trade.

A month ago I was really wanting Gallo. He’s injured now, so... I’ll chalk that up to always being interested to buy high and never buy low. Getting Gallo and Lou would be pretty big, though, if Gallo could be healthy.

He routinely misses 20 to 40 games every year and will be 31 - my guess is no.

After his contract is up I can see maybe using him in a reduced role as an instant offense guy a la Joe Johnson - but even then I dunno.
