....not true, not true at all! A steal is better than a block. A steal gives you possession of the ball EVERY time! A block might or might not. Many blocked shots are retained by the team with the ball. They are able to score again. A steal more often results in points for the team who made the steal. You can't say that about blocked shots.

The injury happened in October, divorce was filed for in August.

I love how people always blame Boozer for this loss instead of the players who actually played in that game. And nobody gives the Suns credit. That was the best defense that I've seen them play in years. They just wanted it more.

I was upset when we lost him and still am, no doubt. Offensively Boozer is just better. Better shooter, better post up player, better fade away, better leader, much better rebounder, commands a double team, smarter. Turns the ball over a little more than Al, worse FT shooter. Sloan always spoke highy of Boozer too. Our offense was a hell of a lot better with Carlos. Also, D-Will has to do more offensively this year and if you've followed him closely you know he'd rather get others involved and take over when he has to. This season's improved defense cannot simple be atributed to the fact that we lost Boozer, we lost a bunch of other players and acquired a bunch of new ones. And the goof Fesenko plays more which does help defensively.

I think the Memo extension really killed us. I like Memo but he just has long stretches of consistency then long stretches of inconsistency. He really benefitted from Boozer's injury in 08-09 by having a career year. That said, I'm excited to get the guy back to see what he can do. He has always played well in Boozer's absence.

I hate how we give bums like Ostertag 5 years $39 Million, max contract to AK, who may have deserved it but should have been dealt for Marion in 2007 for his expiring, Memo's crappy extention (he's not a bum though), but we tell Boozer to go screw himself.

I miss the yelling. In fact I do it all the time when I ball. GET IN THERE or GET THE **** IN THERE is my go to phrase.

Your buddy, The Thiller, whom I just found out within the last two weeks is O Gahtino, proudly declared Millsap better than Boozer last season after he put up big numbers against a lowly Sacramento Kings front court. Something like 30 and 12, but the Kings had probably the worst front court in the league last season.

And steals generally result in a fast break layup attempt on the other end.
 
I'm actually glad Boozer isn't on the team. The team as a whole seems to care more about winning opposed to contract talks and talks of what to do with their summer. Boozer only seemed to care about talking to the media.

Yeah he puts up good numbers, but the Laker Front line ate him alive, as will Boston's.

It is irrelevant when talking about a specific player resigning with a team. Just because Al resigns for 8 million per doesn't mean **** when the luxury tax drops to 40 million.

Like I said earlier, they want to drop the salaries so smaller market teams actually have a chance to compete.

Smaller markets do have a chance to compete. Just because they are in LA or NY doesn't mean they necessarily want to spend over the Luxury Tax threshold either. Plenty of "small" market NBA teams made the playoffs and won championships in recent years. For instance, Cleveland is a small market (compared to NY or LA most places are.. and in terms of the NBA, Cleveland is one of the more smaller markets) Milwaukee and Utah are probably the NBA's smallest markets, both teams have high quality players and are competitive (Milwaukee's been bitten with an injury bug.. but they were in the playoff hunt last year.. which is what makes you "compete").

Utah even has one of the highest salaries in the NBA (6th according to hoopshype, spending about 20 million less than LA and Orlando, but only about 5 million less than Boston) So I just don't believe that "small markets can't compete when compared to money" statement. Any team can pay whatever they want to put a competitive product out on the floor. Some teams choose to pay more than others, but every team has the opportunity to do that.

Your are giving me a damn headache. What Is it exactly you are trying to prove? The jazz have been much more entertaining this year without booz so why all the whining about not having is dumb ***?
