So you really think we are set at the C position then? If not who do you think we should sign at this date in the game? A 7 footer who still has upside for hopefully 2 million or less might be the best we can get at this point.
Yeah... I heard Greg Ostertag might want to make a comeback too...

This is all very silly. We wont find a replacement big man better then Fes this season. The Jazz just need to go ahead and make him a better offer. I love the the Jazz seam to have integrity as a organization but they may need to bend over and take one this time. If we let Fes go he will develop into a solid player on another team. We just dont give him the game time. So everytime he steps on the floor he feels like he needs to over produce to gain more playing time, ending up with fes running around in chaos.
That's being a bit generous.

Actually he isn't far off. He gets so jumpy/nervous at the start of minutes because he feels like he has to prove something that it often works against him in quick fouls/turnovers. Notice the games when Jerry doesn't pull him immediately and you see him settle down.

You guys aren't watching him. That's the only explanation I can think of. The number of shots he alters is staggering. Sign him.

Where did all the hate for Fess come from? He is the best defensive big we have, and it's not really all that close. He also has a lot of upside and an unteachable big body with some athleticism to boot.
The guy is not great but he should be our backup Center. Both when Okur returns and before then.
He is better than Elson.
I hope he gets a 4 year 8-10 Millions dollar offer and that the Jazz are smart enough to match it.

Uh oh. If the Cavs really want him enough, they got the $$ to outbid us. With the addition of Elson, it'll be a lot less of a blow if Fes walks though...
