Favors was all smiles in the locker room after the game. He should be smiling he played an incredible game. I don’t think the jazz win if Rudy had played.

How fickle memory is in sports fandom. Rudy's normal game >>>>> Fave's "incredible" game.
 
Mitchell's attitude matters. Hayward comparisons get old, I know, but look at how Mitchell reacted to LeBron, Wade, etc. When Thabo picked up a T Mitchell was over there clapping and smiling a killer's smile. He repeatedly went right into the teeth of those great players.

Remember Kobe's final game when he punked the Jazz while a hapless Hayward watched with weak awe. Mitchell wouldn't have had that. And all the times Hayward fled from conflict, (see the "where's Gordo" video), or wanted to be part of the cool kid's club at the All-star game. Mitchell's already in it.

I am very aware of what Gobert does well and what he doesnt do well....like hit open 18 footers, catch and finish in traffic, and switch on the perimeter. Some matchups highlight what Rudy does well, i dont think last night was one of them.

Favors shot and hit only one 18th footer last night, everything else was at the rim. Catch and finish in traffic is something Rudy can do with no problem, is the passes at his ankles that are the problem, Switch on the perimeter? Love missing wide open 3s wasn't exactly the outcome of stellar defense. Going for 6 rebounds in 30 minutes against a small lineup is incredible indeed, but not in a good way.

Saying that we lose this game with Rudy on the lineup? If he had played bad, maybe. If he had played normal, we win by double digits. If he had played "incredible" the game was over in the third.
 
When I was watching the game I noticed after every 3 pointer made there was an echo of 3...3...3 after the arena announcer. When did they start doing this?
