Highly disappointed that the Jazz didn't edge out the Warriors for the eighth pick, but I still love the draft. I think it is an exercise in decision making. There are organizations that have continually made bad decisions and continually end up in the draft.

I always pick a player that has "bust" written all over them and see who picks them. My player this year is Andre Drummond. Draft Express has the Kings taking him at 5. I highly doubt the Kings would take a center with a #5 pick. Who will be tempted by his height and potential?... Here are my bust predictions.

Bust:
Andre Drummond
Jared Sullinger
PJ3
Austin Rivers

Sleepers:
Tyler Zeller
Damian Lillard
T. Jones
Fab Melo
Jeff Taylor
Machado

You come off as really smart in this posts.

I agree about Drummond but disagree about Rivers.

Great post, and great research. Make sure you add more to the board.

Much love, all the besteses to you and your family.

I can see why you think Machado has a spot in the league. But when BYU can full court press you into a historic comeback. You might not be an NBA point guard. I just don't see enough athletic ability.

Damn, I actually put Sullinger in the sleeper category because I think some experts have him outside the top 10, or right at ten, when he should be more around 5-7.

Marshall will have to go to the right team to succeed. If he can land on a team with a lot of offensive firepower, he could do good.

Fab Melo is such a poor rebounder I don't really see him succeeding in the NBA.

Espns mock thinks the warriors are very high on sully if they keep their pick and have him slated at 7. Let's hope they keep it. He is a role player in the league, a bench role player. Probably slightly better then Sean mays.

Damn, I actually think that would be a great pick for them. He would be a backup to Bogut/Lee, but I think he is a good player.

I voted for 30% chance we get into the first round this year based solely on a 50/50 coin flip.

If Bogut goes down (inevitable) and they start Sully/Lee, that would probably be awful defensively.

I somehow agree with Sojodave and think he's got a bust potential. Just seems too undersize & not athletic enough to play the 4 in the NBA.

If he does become a bust that'll be one of the best "JUSTICE!!!" moment for Jazzfanz.

He is slow. He's a bit undersized. He lacks any athleticism.
He's polished. Has a big butt. High BB IQ.

He'll have a long and good career .. unworthy of where he'll get picked, though.

How would you feel about Michael Sweetney as a comparison?

That's a very well rounded argument... possitives, negatives, conclusion with a twist... quite well done.

Sullinger is 6'10 with a 7'1 wingspan and can play PF. Not undersized.

He is either too slow unathletic to guards 4's or too short and unathletic to guard 5's. Having said that, see where I said his polish and knowledge of the game will ovrecome most of that.

If Scola can defend 4's in the league, Jared Sullinger can.

Just has to brush up on the good book of Flopping.
