Also obesity is much more of a rural red state issue, so more right on right violence there.

Don’t look now, but we should all be anti-fascist. The Americans referred to as the Greatest Generation sacrificed a great deal the last time fascism presented a threat to civilization. They sacrificed their lives fighting the scourge of fascism. Just because you don’t understand any of this certainly does not make any of it untrue. Some Americans have not forgotten. Some of us recognize what can’t be hidden. History informs the present. It can happen here. And it is happening here, in our present moment.
