Charlotte next for Hayward - Big Al helping recruit....

I just can't see why some people are even invested in the team when they hate everything about it. Go do something that makes you happy or cheer for the Spurs. Or, if you want to be a fan/hater cheer for the Cubs, because at least that is cool. The thing is that you complaining will have absolutely no effect on how things are going forward. People who complain about that which they have absolutely no control over, like the weather, are the most tiresome sort of people alive.

WHy does it bother you so much? You should take your own advice. Yes some people are never happy and complain just to complain. However, you are aware that this is a forum to discuss different opinions about what the Jazz should or shouldn't do. Of course people realize that nothing we say with change what the Jazz do but that doesn't stop us from having an opinion. So you wanting everyone to just get in line and behavior like good little Jazz fans seems ridiculous. Do you think your whining about people having a different opinion than you has any effect on what is going to get posted here on Jazzfanz? If it is so bothersome just ignore it, kind of like what you do with the weather?

Just for the record, I don't hate the Jazz, I have been a fan of the Jazz since they arrived in Utah. I went to the very first game. However, as a fan I am not always happy with every move they have made. As a fan I have a right to express that feeling even though I know that my opinion means squat to the Jazz organization. Doesn't mean that I am not going to give it.

Yes Heyhey you are right there is no controlling me. I don't think my comments are out of control but I took your comment as a compliment.

I understand that we're going to have to overpay Hayward. Hopefully we can scare off enough teams that we won't have to overpay him the max (if someone offers him the max, i say we tie up their ****ing money for all three days, before signing him at the last second). But we will have to overpay him.

To the people who say don't overpay him: what else are we going to spend the money on? We're not going to be good for a few years. We're not doing anything else with the money. We'd probably be able to resign Burks and Kanter, certainly Burks, and I'd much rather have Hayward than Kanter. If Exum turns out to be great, Hayward's contract will be up as soon as we'd have to pay him. No big free agent is going to sign here unless we develop them.

Hayward is as good of a value as we'll get with the money. Would be ****ing stupid to let him walk for nothing.

I hope we can scare off the other teams and get him for 12 million. If you don't like him at 12 million, tell me what else we should do with it.
So my question to you...... if burks and kanter have poor seasons next year as well should we give them both the max too? Cant let them walk for nothin right? Free agents never want to play here so we cant let them leave right?
