this presents a wild choice. I don't think it's really very significant, but I could do a queen move to check the black King. If I did this, the choices would be to move the King out or interpose the Rook, which would allow me to take a pawn essentially in trade for the first one I'm likely to lose. After which I have to figure out how to keep the checkmate from happening. . . . I lost mobility overall in putting my Queen to the edge position. Claiming the center is basic to this game.
The other wild attack is on a7 (again), which would allow Siro to line up his Rook with his Queen for one possible mate campaign. . . .
The other approach Siro could make to achieve mate is to put his Rook on d1. I can't trade out without being left in a matable position, and somehow I have to project my Queen to that position, and be able to cover b2 as well if Siro goes there.
My wild attack possibilities cannot achieve mate in any sequence I can see because I cannot get my Rook mobilized. However I do have to move my Queen, and it is of no consequence if I insert a check or two into my path to the place I want to go.

Yeah, sorry again, I remember reading your post but somehow missed the move even though it was in bold font. But then again, I messed up our moves and the diagrams as well that time because like I said, I was watching some games at the time, so it was probably the cause again.

A quick draw (twenty moves) by repetition in game nine of World Chess Championship. Three games to go with Magnus still up a game. A bit of a surprise since Magnus is known for fighting for the advantage with white. Reason for such a short game: Anand introduced a novelty on move thirteen and Carlsen felt Anand had the superior preparation, he didn't want to risk getting a disadvantage in uncharted territory. After the game Magnus was not too disappointed with the result as at this stage of the match Anand is running out of time to break back with a win. Tomorrow is game ten of twelve and Anand has white. I expect the game to be an exciting contest with Anand going all out for the win.
