Sure it will. I had a great time having the stuffing knocked out of me by Loggrad98/Jonah. If you can pull that off, it will still be fun.

I'm still searching for something solid against d4, an opening I feel comfortable with and understand the underlying strategy rather than just the moves. I'm much more relaxed playing against e4 than d4.

I thought I responded to this already, but sometimes I don't get the post through somehow, for whatever reason. I also find my computer getting very slow when I come into JazzFanz anymore. We're going to set up another computer in the new house, and get this thing scrubbed.

Kd5

As for "fun", I'm good for losing and still calling it "fun". I grew up being a good sport, and all that. I'm just telling you that at this point I can't make any more mistakes, and you indeed have an advantage.

during one span of my play I loved to do d4 as white, and practically forgot how to play any other way. In the past two years, the computer I played against was good enough it made me turn to the e4 opening, and I could win most of the time. The computer didn't know how to deal with some other things I would do, but it was a cheesy computer. The phone app I have now beats the tar outta me all the time. I win once in a while, though.

I'm not sure how much of a difference it really made, but I first saw myself as having a near-certain win back at move 36. I thought g5 would have better than h5. Once the rooks were gone, it became easier.

Sure, it would be fun to play an e4 game. I can say now I would play the Sicilian, but I’m fine here with working on my d4 defense. Really, I’m just giving some rambling feelings about the moves as the game develops.

Here I play d6. I used to invariably play d5 and attempt to play the Grunfeld, but I’ve decided to try for something completely different.
