It's so disingenuous to say Gobert struggles in the playoffs as a blanket statement. He struggles against Houston. For someone who threw a crybaby fit about people slandering Mitchell, you'd think you wouldn't be a hypocrite and slander Gobert.
Could we get Wood? I want wood.Allen sort of sucks but yes. I’d add Harris to that list too. Do that, sign Udoh and the best God damn stretch 4 who plays defense and rebounds.
Right now sure. Going forward Mitchell’s ceiling is higher. There’s also other considerations as well in this.Flat out anyone who thinks Mitchell is better than Gobert is blind and doesnt actually watch Jazz games.
That isnt slander, it's verifiable facts.
I don’t think given the circumstances if they are what they seem. You would easily get that lmao. Atlanta would throw in a future first as well.
Utah would be silly to accept.
I'm not sure how high it is. His defense hasnt met expectations and he doesnt show a lot of promise being a high level foul drawer. This year he was good because of strong mid-range numbers. Is that sustainable? His most realistic path for improvement is to become a more efficient 3pt shooter, but will that happen with his volume shooting mentality? His refusal to remove bad floater attempts is worrisome to me. Gobert, for all his flaws, rarely plays outside of himself in ways that hurt the team.Right now sure. Going forward Mitchell’s ceiling is higher. There’s also other considerations as well in this.
I know that isnt Jarrett Allen cuz only a complete moron would bench him for Epke Udoh.Mitchell-Dinwiddie
LeVert-Clarkson
Bogdanovic-Harris
O’Neale-Ingles
Udoh-Allen
We’d probably only win like 44 games in the west. I don’t know.
I know that isnt Jarrett Allen cuz only a complete moron would bench him for Epke Udoh.
Mitchell shot a ton of shots against Houston because we literally had no other offensive option. Gobert was easy to shut down, Rubio couldn't shoot, and Joe was also shut down. Favors and Royce were limited. What are you talking about? Why do you always talk out your *** on this subjecet?
Mitchell has played MUCH worse against Houston than Gobert has. Mitchell was god awful last playoff series (the two close games the Jazz lost he was a combined 13/49 from the field).
Does Gobert struggle to be as good as he usually is against Houston? Sure, but he didnt completely face plant like Mitchell did and he's far from bad and still asserts a huge defensive influence on the game. And Houston is without a doubt his worst matchup. Any other playoff series he is going to look like he usually looks.
Gobert was not great against Houston in 2019, Houston in 2018 and OKC in 2018. 3 playoff series and 2 different opponents - Gobert wasn't near as effective as he is during the season. It's so disingenuous to say Gobert struggles in the playoffs as a blanket statement. I think we all have our wagons hitched to him. I think you’re just really sensitive and defensive go a ridiculous point.Gobert was not great against Houston in 2019, Houston in 2018 and OKC in 2018. 3 playoff series and 2 different opponents - Gobert wasn't near as effective as he is during the season.
Crybaby fit? Yeah, I get defensive when morons overvalue Jazz players while bashing the guy we should be hitching the wagon to. But I don't expect you to understand what's best for the team. Your basketball knowledge always comes up lacking when it's about improving the franchise. It's like you cherish mediocrity.

Cy is saying we should go with Rudy over Donovan. What are you missing?I think we all have our wagons hitched to him. I think you’re just really sensitive and defensive go a ridiculous point.
Every great player is scrutinized first off. Lebron is the most scrutinized athlete of all time and he’s probably the greatest athlete of all time. You’re being childish as can be. Cy actually said both are important and he’s not advocating for getting rid of either of them. Quite honestly if you think we scrutinize you haven’t looked at how many other fanbases scrutinize because this fanbase is actually quite soft on criticism.Cy is saying we should go with Rudy over Donovan. What are you missing?
I'm sensitive because idiotic mindsets drive me up the proverbial wall. For a Jazz fan to watch the playoffs the last two years and honestly feel that Gobert is more important than Donovan, I worry about our fan base. It blows my mind. Watch basketball people. Titles are not won by teams led by offensively and physically limited big men.
In terms of accomplishments and statistics, Donovan Mitchell is one of the most accomplished young players in the history of the NBA not just our Jazz. He should be more celebrated not scrutinized.
