Honest question here, since all I really am going by is stats:

For those who are not concerned about McCollum's PG skills, how should we look at Wolters' much higher assist rate if they were basically in the same situation (needing to score, do everything on a low-level team)? Why couldn't/didn't CJ do something similar? Did Lehigh have another PG?

Wolters is a good scorer, but more of an opportunistic scorer than McCollum, so he had to pass more out of necessity.

I haven't been following Lehigh, but look at this clip at 2.50 min. mark.. seems like they had another PG (Mackey McKnight) who handles the ball and played McCollum off the ball... not sure if this was a fulltime thing or was just this 1 game though:

Some nice PG skills by McCollum in this highlight.. I was wrong about him, seems like he's plenty agile & quick for the PG position.

With him, I think we'll at last have that guy that we can give the ball to with 15 seconds left on the clock and let him make plays.
