The Cavs have discussed trading for Utah point guard Shelvin Mack, who makes $2.4 million this season and is averaging 7.3 points and 2.8 assists, among others. They need a backup point guard, not so much for the postseason but certainly for March, as they attempt to get All-Star starters LeBron James and Kyrie Irving some rest.

The Cavs have a $4.4 trade exception that expires Monday and like the quote says Mack makes $2.4 million a year so it seems like a perfect match. What's some possibilities? Jordan McCrae and a second? Two seconds? Mack and a second for a future-first?

I think it's obvious Shelvin is on the trading block. Dante started playing in place of him despite that Dante was playing perhaps as badly as he has all year. And I don't think Shelvin was playing any worse.

Yeah, but to be fair, Dante has played better since then and Shelvin has played worse than expected. I'm hoping they trade him and get the rights to Cedi Osman back.

Liggins + McCrae + 2020 Cle 1st rd pick top-20 protected for Mack and a 2nd rd pick..

I'm not sure if Cleveland wants to trade Liggins tho.. Perhaps a Richard Jefferson reunion tour?

Trade GS's 2017 and Mack to Cleveland for Cleveland's future first in 2021 (top 3 protected).

Neto sucks, that's why both the Cavs and Lebron don''t want him. Still however
Saint Cy of JFC does still have a man crush on Neto

Cedi Osman is the only young player they have that I have interest in. 21 years old, good three point shooter. No interest in McRae or Liggins. Try to get Osman and a pick.
