It's not just hack-a-shaq. Rudy only played 24 minutes, it's not like he was only sitting when the Clippers were in the penalty.
He's not getting it done on offense. His defense was awful tonight. They shot 7-9 on him inside. Gobert was a negative tonight no doubt. 24 minutes was plenty based on his play.
Jeff Whithy is a guy that could have really helped tonight. I think when Rudy's tired or just inefficient they should go to him.

Also, the ****ing play Aldrich made in regulation to block Hood's layup attempt was simply incredible on his part. Then followed it up by stealing a rebound from Favors.

He really willed them to be able to get the game to OT.

Derrick looked like he wanted no part of this game, or just walked into it thinking we'd coast

I really hope next season doesn't have anywhere near the same amount of frustrating, gut-punch losses. In '07 I think we got beat by buzzer beaters on four separate occasions and even that wasn't as bad as this season has been.

Our average point differential is typical of a 45-34 team and we're 6 games below that because of all the close losses. Ugh.

I think he was just tense, just like our players. We have to remember this is the first time any of our guys are in this situation. I know it's a ****ty excuse and we just lost to a team we had no business losing too, but we played nervous from top to bottom. Hayward (and Burks in his limited minutes) where the only players on our team that ever seemed loose at any point in the game (I really thought Hayward was about to shut the game down with the way he was playing then he let the refs take him out of the game).

I'm a Buffalo Bills fan and about 10 seasons ago, we played the Steelers second stringers (they rested thier starters) in the final game of the season. A win would have put us in the post season for the first time in six years. We lost, embarrassing so, and still haven't been to the post season this century (16 years and counting).

Favors and Hayward have been to the playoffs before. They are not excused. Sometimes there just isn't a winning mentality.

Favors looked really slow and sloppy tonight. I think they definitely played a little tense and to not lose, still a very inexperienced team and this might actually do them some good in the long run. Sucky game to lose but no need to overreact.

and Adam Morrison has championship experience.... Okay maybe not to that extreme, but if playoff experience is measured from 1-100 this team is like a 2.

Might. Might not.
