Asked why the Jazz let the Clippers 2nd stringers dictate Utah's rotation tonight. Which is a fan-****ing-tastic question.
I have no clue

Ben Dowset is a baby. He blocked me on twitter cause I called him out on his lack of Alec Burks reporting.

Not buying that. The Jazz have come up clutch plenty of times this season. We just suck at running offense in close games. We rely too much on being clutch and not just simply executing.

I wrote this two days ago.

Quin has to draw up better plays in clutch situations. Hayward and Hood they can't always create their own shot down the stretch. I would prefer they move the ball quickly and find an open man down the stretch too.

Regardless, he's made some great points tonight. If it's so easy to force the Jazz to bench one of their three best players that even the Clippers without any of their starters can do it just by going small, that's a massive problem. Especially as more and more teams are trying to play small.

Our final possession in regulation was brutal. Ingles nearly didn't get the inbounds of in time and Gordon caught it near midcourt with just a few seconds remaining. Ugh. It's like a broken record. At least put Alec out there, even for a decoy.

The only reason that works with Gobert is because his free throw percentage is a joke and Snyder tried to avoid the hack a shaq. If the Jazz ever get better. One of the reasons will be based on Gobert learning how to shoot them.

Quin played not to lose.

It's not just hack-a-shaq. Rudy only played 24 minutes, it's not like he was only sitting when the Clippers were in the penalty.

I think he was just tense, just like our players. We have to remember this is the first time any of our guys are in this situation. I know it's a ****ty excuse and we just lost to a team we had no business losing too, but we played nervous from top to bottom. Hayward (and Burks in his limited minutes) where the only players on our team that ever seemed loose at any point in the game (I really thought Hayward was about to shut the game down with the way he was playing then he let the refs take him out of the game).
