Coaching Addict Report

I don't think anyone in here watches more Jazz games, or cares more, than my brother.

I visited him yesterday, and am here to report that he's taking credit. Says he wrote a letter to Snyder last year and told him how to coach Clarkson, Conley, and Donovan. Said Clarkson was a ball hog and people were getting ticked. Gobert standing unguarded a lot while Clarkson dribbled like a showoff. and wouldn't pass the ball. Said Conley would develop if he wasn't "pushed", just worked along slow. Just needed patience. I forgot what he said about Donovan.

The gist of this report is that this team can still get better, and will, because Snyder is coaching it right. Has a lot of good input, and listens when the advice is good.

Probably reads this forum.

We have a lot of coaching addicts in this forum. I see sideline coaching all the time, in every thread.

I'm an ignoramus, I know. Weeds grow in cracks in the courtyard. They won't let me out to smell them, but in my head I imagine them, like flowers. I do my own swirlies to wash my hair after every flush, right. nah, I just know some others imagine that.

I got my own lingo. In the webz, when someone calls me an "ignoramus", I tell them to remember to wipe. People who have to crap on others might be called "ignoranuses"...... OK, I'll patent that expression.

So the radio commentators on tonight's game talked about Conley becoming better over time in some specific respects. And then they remarked also on Clarkson, stating quite precisely how he is improving. They also specifically commented on Gobert's improvements. Confirming my brothers comments yesterday.

They also praised Snyder for his "oft-used phrase". "Just get better consistently". We get better one day at a time when we make up our minds to pay attention to good coaching.

Dunno, I thought some of you would like a place to discuss how players are being coached, whatever. Calling you addicts in my title might have invited some snarkiness, but I meant it as a sorta fun expression of humility for people who actually realize they are not the real coaches, that they only like to try to be.

What would be a better expression "Backseat Coaching" has definite wrong impressions galore.

I should have pretended to know what I'm talking about here, like I could tell you the real deal or something. nah.

So mods, please just delete this thread and any other where anyone decides to make a toilet of it. Some people just stink too damn much.
