I entered into some at&t drawing thing and they called my name over the PA system telling me to go to the booth where I entered the drawing. I didn't even know what was going on. I showed up and they took me down to the a tunnel courtside and had 15 basketballs loaded onto racks and told me that I would get 200 bucks for each made shot. I think there was a time limit as well but cant remember what it was.

Lol, that’s too bad. You missed out on a chance to make some good dough and a date with a dancer.

The mentality will come. Would love to see him do some Izzo/Spartans like drills to work on the aggressive mentality of crashing the boards. Even on the sweet floater he hit, you can see once he releases it, he just stands there watching, with no getting into position to grab off a miss. Not worried about it. He obviously worked his *** off the last few months. These are things coaching and a talented older brother can push him to do.

They said they never had the time to get me out there due to the timeouts being the short variety and then the end of the quarter coming up and they had an act that needed their court time. I think they didn't let me out there cause they didn't want to pay me a ton of money (it was $200 per made shot) and they had seen me warming up with the jazz dancers in the tunnel and saw the skill and confidence oozing from my pores. lol ;)

It could be many things, but as a former D1 shooting coach I can tell you a lot of it is in game confusion. What I mean by that is when we correct form, it is easier to use a modified form when shooting lots of reps in practice, but in game shots often revert to the old form or something in between, and those are often really bad until the player makes the new shot instinctual. And some never do, which is why we don't often fully reform a shooters shot just make tweaks.

It is easier to learn good form when young, but unfortunately most systems I see encourage 3 pt shots at too early an age which encourages poor form as kids aren't generally strong enough to get these shots off with proper form.

Bro, you need to get something straight here: from the perspective of every single poster in the history of jazzfanz, you seem to have at least 10 triggers that are permanently stepped on and locked into the ON position. You've been this way for over a decade, so we can all act as if this is who you are all the time (that would be a reasonable choice on our parts).
