What's new

College Basketball '14-15......

Happy with the win, and stoked that Poeltl looks like an absolute stud, but aaaarrrggggghhhhh choking the game away at the end of regulation is what cost us about 5 wins last year. So bummed that we haven't shaken it.

Utes are really, really, good though. Gonna be an awesome year if we can stop choking during the clutch.

My sincerest congratulations to Ute fans but I gotta keep it real. The Utes were the favorites here. This wasn't some amazing win. They simply did what they should've done.

I wouldn't have picked them to win if I would have known Loveridge wasn't playing. I crashed out when WSU was up by about 8, so I was surprised when I woke up this morning to see Utah had won. I'm impressed.

Hopefully, Jacob Mozart is one and done. He is certainly the most impressive Ute since Bogut probably.

Nice win for the Utes. Good game, fun to watch. A better passing team than I thought, good defense.

Should be a good year. Some radio goon projects them as the 2nd Pac12 team below Zona.

Agree, but I will say. There was a lot of pressure for the U after the melt down in regulation, and pulling it off in regulation wasnt a simple task, as it seemed they had lost the edge

Yeah, that is the advantage WSU had over Utah. They know how to play in big game pressure. It showed because the WSU players made huge plays and Utah kind of stalled out. Still can't believe VanVleet missed that FT. After the big momentum swing I really thought there was no way WSU would lose.

Not right now, but Issac Neilson and Kaufusi at least have that potential and could at worst give you what Nate and Luke do for awhile(not in the same ways, but overall) until they get up to speed. They both just kind of look lost out there in their little spurts they get to play because they don't get enough time to get going and they both foul like crazy anyway so the two current starters would still play a lot, but those two starting would ensure they pick up much needed game experience in longer spurts.

Mika can't return from his mission soon enough lol

Been saying that on here all week bro. We are good enough that we should expect to beat most any team in the country at home.

Not sure if cereal, but Utah was picked number 2 in the Pac in the pre season media poll.
