Wanted to start by saying this is the best team the U has had since Bogut and they have far surpassed any expectations I had BEFORE the season started with that said here is my over the top emotional response to this "game" the U just "played".
Utes played as soft as.... well the word hasn't been invented yet, they will have to invent a word to invent the word that will describe how bitch *** weak the Utes played. At one point in the 2nd half the U was out rebounded 18 to 3, to put that in perspective at one point UW had 4 straight offensive rebounds, so on that one possession they had more rebounds then the U had for the entire half. I should also mention UW played zone and a VERY soft poor defensive zone which lends itself to giving up offensive rebounds, however the U players would get it 5'-8' in the middle of the zone for an EASY uncontested shot but instead would look like a quadriplegic monkey trying to **** a basketball while drowning in a kiddie pool.
This is a bad trend to end a season, they played poor against Oregon and lost, played good against AZ St, played okay against AZ (would chalk that up to AZ just being a really good team if it weren't for the trend) and lost, then played Was St and played very poor but luckily still won and then the game today so 1 good game out of their last 5 to end the season. Rebounding has been an issue in all but the AZ St game and the defense has been declining for the past month, the offense has stayed consistent with it at lease one 5min drought per half and much of the time those droughts are longer then 5min I just minimum of 5min. If the defense is locked in and they aren't rebounding like bitches then they can overcome that and when they don't well we've just seen what can happen.
If they don't pull their collective heads out their asses they will lose the first game of the PAC12 tourny and most likely lose the first round of March Madness tourny.
